Up

 

Near Kermeta, a small town in the East of the Empire, the local villagers have spotted several war bands wandering the forests. Friar Yannick, a hermit but also the local priest disagrees with the local village council to ignore the threats as their Emperor has far better things to do now he’s claimed most of the State Troops in his quest for the Nemesis Crown and that the villagers are more than able to defend their village. Being a former Warrior Priest of Sigmar, his experience tells him that reinforcements are needed to keep these war bands from conquering and rampaging the Kermeta.

he sends one of these men to the great city of Nuln in order to request help at the Abbey of Sigmarite Warrior Priests. The Abbot, Father Youri, has a lot of influence at the court of Nuln and might just be able to get some of the troops to be sent to Kermeta as reinforcements. Weeks go by and no sight of reinforcements. Friar Yannick already starts to despair as on a morning a large cloud of dust appears on the road to Nuln. At the head of the column rides Father Youri himself, raising his hand to greet his old friend in arms Yannick. As the troops enter the town, Youri immediately starts to organize the defenses…

Along the way to Kermeta a Wizard and some flagellants had joined the caravan. Matthias, the wanderer, is a Wizard renowned to appear were the concentration of Dark Magic’s was the highest. He always disappeared in the same mysterious manner as he appeared but Father Youri had gladly accepted his services. As for the flagellants: they were always a force to be reckoned with as they are always prepared to sacrifice their lives for the greater good…
