How did you get to know the Money Wolves?

I encountered Steven Beerten (Stefano) on a ranking tournament in Ostend in I think 2003 for the first time. Saw his nice Vampire Army and remembered it. When in 2004 I saw the army again on a tournament in Dendermonde I stepped up to him start talking about the hobby and so. And after this it seemed we lived close to each other. From then we travelled together to the tournaments we both participate. So when we went together to Leopoldsburg Full Tilt in 2005 and had to play each other. He told me he made a battlereport for the money wolves website so from then on I knew the moneywolves a bit better. Later on that year I was introduced to Kaj Geenen (Kaïo) on another tournament. Also then in 2005 They came over to play a siege at my place and from then on Kaj and Steven became very good “gaming” friends who think mostly the same about the Warhammer hobby.

Most memorable event ever during a game/tournament?

I have a few memorable moments:

  • Winning the ranking der nederlanden in 2005.

  • Becomming 11th at the Grand Tournament Benelux 2006 (see tournament report) out of 116 players.

  • The 3 monthly battles with Patrick Cannaerts (chairman of De Witte Ridder), Rudy Rens (my training and sparring partner when starting warhammer and when I had all the time to play) and Kris Jans (one of the better Belgian players I know)

  • The both sieges I played with Steven and Kaj.

Of the numerous games you’ve played, which was the one where you had the most fun? And why?

I enjoy 99% of all the friendly and tournament games I play. So to name just one is impossible to do. I like the 3 monthly games as stated in previous question. Also playing a test game (tournament list testing) against Steven. Playing a siege against Steven and Kaj.Almost every tournament game I play is to enjoy, weather I win or lose, but what I noticed is that when you draw or nearly lose or win a tournament game (lets call it a close game) I get the most satisfaction and pleasure. Then warhammer resembles at chess without the squares and that’s what I like the most.
